OK, This Could Be Huge

 I Mean Super Huge! All of us oldies have that nagging hunch we are heading for Alzheimer'sville. It's one of the slowest ways to die -- and it tortures your family, drains your savings and is in general giant pain in the ass  brain. SUDDENLY there is another ray of hope!  And it's from a very credible source, nature , the prestigious Brit science journal. New hope for Alzheimer’s: lithium supplement reverses memory loss in mice OK, mice. But this is just one piece of the evidence -- the latest and a very important piece of research -- but there are numerous documented observational studies showing that lithium takers (bi-polar folks for instance) have much less AD.  And get this: Lithium "slows brain aging in general." There's not much detail on this yet, but I'd say that's a good thing. Removing the FICA (Social Security) Cap: Income above $176,100 is currently exempt from Social Security tax Estimated additional revenue: $100-150 billion annually 2. Including Capital Gains: Capital gains are currently not subject to payroll taxes Annual capital gains realizations: ~$800 billion to $1.2 trillion Applying 15.3% total payroll tax to capital gains Estimated additional revenue: $120-180 billion annually Combined Rough Estimate: $220-330 billion in additional annual revenue for Social Security and Medicare combined. THE AMERICAN SYSTEM ALLOWS --  ENCOURAGES! -- WEALTH TO BE ACCRUED.
