My simple minded, naive hope is that I can wake up some Breitbart and Daily Caller readers to the fact they are getting conned everyday by Russian trolls. Fat chance.
But here are a few of my attempts.

The USSR is gone, but the KGB (by any other name) is still alive and flourishing. How could it not be with KGB Colonel Vladimir Putin in control? Only now they are using their considerable expertise at propaganda to tear American from American. Ripping us apart, destroying the civility we used to value, pumping up both the worst of the alt-right and the Antifa thugs at the same time. They are all 'fundamentalist MAGA' on rightwing site, AND they are all 'anti-fascist' on the leftwing sites. They are brilliant at picking the right people for the most destructive messages, thanks to the psycho-demographic expertise of the likes of Cambridge Analytica.
         We are in a serious cyber war, and most Americans have no idea it's happening.

Patty! You (inadvertently, I suspect) described the playbook of the Russian trolls. Is something "valuable" only if it confirms one of your prejudices? Does "insight" come only from your own opinions? Is "credible" the definition of something Michael Savage or Alex Jones says?
Those guys working in the Russian propaganda factories, troll/bot farms, are very sophisticated (with the help of the psycho/demographics of Cambridge Analytica) at targeting YOU with messages that fit those criteria. 
Hate "Dims" if you like, but don't let Russian propaganda be the reason.

No, the greatest threat to America isn't that a free people have the right to criticize their own country. The REAL threat to America is that a foreign enemy is waging cyber war against us, turning us against one another with expert propaganda, flooding the new arena of social media with very clever hate catalysts, trust eroders, and flagrantly false information. "Fake news" hardly covers it. 
The Russians especially, but also the Chinese, Iranians and North Koreans are doing a helluva job twisting our shorts until we just slug the next American who's not wearing a MAGA hat. 
We better wake up and start fighting back, or we are toast.



He who calls another "commie" is probably an employee of the real Communists, the Russians. They learned that "commie" is the worst insult in America, and their trolls use it incessantly. Ironical that, if you dig irony.

Clearly there are more Russian trolls "commenting" here at DailyCaller than Americans. THOSE are the secret agents among us. Their sole goal is to spread chaos and American-against-American hatred. Thanks to uncritical thinkers among us, they successfully sell their bile to quite a few of us.

A Millenial Hit Olde Folks Don't Know About Are you over 50? Have you ever heard about "Rick and Morty?" I thought not. There is a "cell" of younger people who love the show and say extravagant things about its wonderfulness. In these times when prior punditry had it we would be unified by some mysterious power in the Internet, there are more and more cells of people, unified within their cells, but isolated from most of the other cells of special interests*, tastes and proclivities.  The U.S. looks more like a pomegranate than a cantaloupe - to push the fruit/melon analogy to its extreme. I will dream up a graphic one of these days. USA, USA! society in fruit form. ANYHOO... I watched Rick and Morty at my millennial son's suggestion, and I LOVE IT.
