OK, This Could Be Huge

 I Mean Super Huge! All of us oldies have that nagging hunch we are heading for Alzheimer'sville. It's one of the slowest ways to die -- and it tortures your family, drains your savings and is in general giant pain in the ass  brain. SUDDENLY there is another ray of hope!  And it's from a very credible source, nature , the prestigious Brit science journal. New hope for Alzheimer’s: lithium supplement reverses memory loss in mice OK, mice. But this is just one piece of the evidence -- the latest and a very important piece of research -- but there are numerous documented observational studies showing that lithium takers (bi-polar folks for instance) have much less AD.  And get this: Lithium "slows brain aging in general." There's not much detail on this yet, but I'd say that's a good thing. Orotate!!   Not just any lithium works, apparently only LITHIUM OROTATE, a reasonably priced supplement, does the job.  This article is a little vague on the dosage...

 At Least One of Trump's Catastrophic  Attacks on Science Reversed OK, I admit it, I was becoming disconsolate (beyond consolation, a sucko state of mind) about the damage our current Prez and his gang are doing to science in America. Thousands of research projects abandoned and totally destroyed, thousands of our greatest scientific minds being discarded like used tissues, hundreds of universities being whiplashed into confusion, hundreds of thousands of the world's brightest students being barred from studying (and becoming entrepreneurs) in America.... on and on.  Then one piece of news amped me up to a new level of teeth grinding (no, not the one about spending another $billion to shut down three more wind farms... gag! ).  The "money saving"   trumpery  plan to wipe out our extraordinary ocean observatories, and letting them rust away in storage (that was the plan... barf! ).  Then...
