"Attritable"

New-ish Corporatespeak Word

Attritable seems to mean "expendable" or "disposable," but those just won't do for Lockheed Martin and their ilk.
Sounds too throw-away-ish, y'know.
It's not a cruise missile (although it can be used that way), it's a pilotless airplane that can shoot missiles, ram its target or dive into it.  Sort of Kamikaze without a suicidal pilot.
The A.I. that will fly the thing needs human (and other A.I.s helping the human) oversight, and the perfect overseer is an F-35. Made by Lockheed Martin.
And these things are described as "low-cost attritable UAV platforms."  Check the "low-cost" description. (Hint: it's hard to find the probable price.)

Low cost attritable

The good old military industrial complex marches on.
They are fully immune to attrition.
